I owe a debt of gratitude to Louisa Branscomb for getting me next to Catesby Jones-at The Southport Songwriter’s Festival last year! We immediately hit it off and this is the second of many more to come recordings we are working on. He had me with this one the first time I heard it:
“She doesn’t text in cars, she’s a careful driver
But she’s a alphabet train wreck subway rider
I love you comes out “I kick too”
Let’s do lunch–“get punched blue”
’cause when it comes to cell phones
She’s all thumbs”
Now what’s not to LOVE about that? Yay! More to come…
